Cloazus was born from the union of the surnames of designer and pattern cutter Clodoaldo Souza Lopes’ parents, reflecting his heritage, identity, and deep connection to craftsmanship.

Founded by Clodoaldo, Cloazus operates as a pattern development and garment construction studio, specialising in remote pattern cutting for designers and brands. With extensive experience in both digital and manual pattern making, Clodoaldo develops precise patterns focused on fit, construction, and functionality.

At Cloazus, fashion is approached through structure, technique, and control. Each pattern is carefully developed, tested, and refined through physical and/or toile sampling before final approval, ensuring accuracy, clean construction, and reliable results in production.

Every pattern developed at Cloazus is taken through a test-fit stage prior to delivery. Patterns are physically tested on the body or through toile construction, allowing adjustments to be made before they are sent to the client. This process ensures that each pattern functions correctly, translates seamlessly into garment construction, and meets professional fitting standards.
